Cycplus AS2 Pro Max Review
Cycplus reached two months ago and asked me to test AS2 Pro Max Infller Bicycle Tirea filling bicycle pump around the size of a wallet. I used a portable CO2 and hand pumps for the tires before, but they never considered the battery. Why not send it?
AS2 Pro Max succeeds in two previous versions: AS2 and AS2 Pro. Pro max was already quite popular. At the time of this review, he just returned to the market after being sold out shortly after starting in early 2024.

Cycplus AS2 Pro Max specifications
Outside the frame, AS2 Pro Max looks strong like an action sports camera-think of GoPro or the Insta360-S LED screen and three buttons on one side and a lens nozzle on the opposite.

The AS2 Pro Max box includes the following pieces:
- Silicone case: This transparent silicone sleeve crosses over inflatable and acts as an oven lever as the unit can become very hot after prolonged use (more about it later).
- Hose: 3-inch bowel screws into the nozzle and allows you to access hard-to-reach valves. Business end of the gut is a threaded for Schrader valves, but comes with the converter stops the valve if you need it.
- Pills: By far the smallest piece in the set, the pillar is key to converting the AS2 Pro Max nozzle from stops to Schrader. The manual involves instructions on how to turn the gut.
- Ball needle: This is your typical ball needle used to inflate basketball, football, football balls – you called it.

What is Cycplus AS2 Pro Max for?
The AS2 Pro Max quickly and accurately inflates the tires for motorcycles and bicycles, either on a short pitstop or before a daily driving. Will never replace your standard floor pump – nor has it ever been conceived – but it’s a solid alternative to the standard manual and CO2-Pumpe with drive.

How does Cycplus AS2 Pro Max work?

How to Use Cycplus AS2 Pro Max on the cessation of valves

Turn the nozzle to Schrader

As the AS2 Pro Max compares with CO2 Pump?
For this test, I turned off a portable manual pump due to unlimited capacity. The real shooting is between a tried -core CO2 Cartridge pump and new rechargeable AS2 Pro max. I put these two heads to my head as I repeatedly fill a completely flat tire of 700 x 48c (28 “x 2,0”). Who reigns the victorious? Look.
AS2 Pro Max Vs. CO2 Test results
As you can see from the results below, the AS2 Pro Max is obviously a winner in terms of tires that can inflate – five against only those with CO2. Although you may not need to inflate five tires in a row, it is good to know that you have more in the tank if necessary.
AS2 Pro Max also surpasses CO2 Pump in the pressure level category. Each of the five tires reached exactly 55 dogs – without guessing. I had to get a floor pump to measure dogs after depletion of CO2 tank.

The AS2 Pro Max was lagging behind in the time category, lasting almost five times longer than the tire filling cartridges. However, the total volume of AS2 was much larger than the one in CO2 pump.
The word caution: After filling the third tire, AS2 Pro Max flashed ‘hot’ on the LED screen and turned off. I let it cool for a few minutes, then fill the last two tires before running out of batteries. And I discovered a difficult way to make the branch end of the gut very hot. Allow it to sit for a second before you take it away.
Even with overheating, it’s a non-fame for me: from now on I will now drive AS2 Pro Max on all my rides. CO2 It’s okay in a pinch, but I’d rather be sure than sorry. If I ever run out of juice on AS2 Pro Max, I can fill it at a nearby cafe, while full of fuel with a little coffee and donuts – or two.
Things to consider
The AS2 Pro Max has some small parts – the hose, the converter stops the valve and the Mesirgani Pillar – which can be lost if not kept in the provided waterproof bag. I would love to see a way of storing at least a bowel on an inflatable unit. This would make it a little easier to drive and wear.
Overheating is also a problem with AS2 Pro Max. The silicone sleeve does its job by holding the unit comfortably to the touch, but after it filled three tires, the unit overheated. Now I would use AS2 Pro Max to switch the tires before driving, so I’m not worried about overheating – just know that this is happening.
I suppose some people will thank the price – $ 129. But during the life of the pump, I think you will spend less than you would be on CO2 patrones. If US $ 129 is too rich for your blood, you can opt for AS2 or AS2 Pro.
