Blix Sol x Review | Cruiser/Commuter of the Future?

As a cruiser-style e-bicycle, we expected to show many of the most important characteristics of this category-before all an extremely pleasant and relaxed feeling. With a wide, well -related saddle, upright sitting position and a curved steering wheel with ergonomic grips, salt X has fulfilled our expectations with its pleasant, friendly feeling.

The bike is available in the size of one frame intended for riders between 5’1 and 6’2 ”. It has 8” Sedla height adjustment, and the stem is adjustable, allows drivers to change their angle and change the steering height and a bike reach.

At 5’11 ”I found that its size was appropriate and comfortable. I was able to raise the saddle for the right and effective extension of my legs, and set the managers on a comfortable (still relatively low) height.

I met a bicycle running in the introduction; With most weight below or behind the saddle, the steering wheel reacted extremely quickly. Salt X is also stable during riding, thanks to a long intermediate intervals and a geometry outstretched.

The bike jaw is rigid, so there is no suspension outside its saddle and tire. When riding, the bulges felt softened by these features, but still somewhat noticeable. Solid forks are common on the beach cruisers, so this was not unexpected, and this feature also contributes to the handling of salt X.

Although I have discussed the natural feeling and adaptable, motor exit of the bicycle even before, these elements are central in the experience of salt X. I appreciated the fact that, although a cycling powerful engine, he could make a short work of the hill and deliver rapid speeds, he never felt overwhelming; It was never obvious that I was driving an e-bicycle.

Moving a high -tech bicycle was another basic element of his driving. In addition to the rapid, reactive changes in gear (and cold sound signal), the system also offers an automatic switch feature that was in our examination in beta testing.

When activated, this feature only works when you use an automatic pedal help setting; Automatically changes the gears to match the pre-selected extent selected by the rider’s power (in Watts) and the target cadence. Both of these goals are set using the Blix Connect application.

In addition to allowing users to change the bicycle speed settings, hire and adjust the automatic change feature and download the Firmware update, the Blix Connect application also allows drivers to access useful driving data. Much of this data is identical to what is shown on the bike screen, but also includes a power gauge and an estimated remaining range.

It is important to note that even though we were salt -ov technological package, we considered the benefit of its driving quality, the system was not perfect. The feature of the automatic switching was generally functioning well, although it could feel a little unclear because the unpredictably moved (especially on the hills).

In addition, we found that a bicycle speed change could disrupt its programming. In some cases, the motor exit has changed to require much more effort to achieve the speed of class 3, while at other times the throttle and slipper system surpassed the boundaries I have set up in the application. Given that the application allows Firmware updates, we hope that these problems will be corrected in the future.

Sol -ov electronic movement system and control module on its right -wing manager (which controls its lights, rotation signals and electronic horn) added a small layer of complexity, but as a whole, I thought this bike was very easy to use and a valuable learning curve.

I especially appreciated three standard dog bike settings; Many e-bicycles include five or more power levels that may feel too much. I am sure, whether you will use the automatic change feature or not, many drivers will appreciate the simplicity of automatic help, which makes it easier to simply jump and pedal!

All in all, salt x stands out in the field of driving quality, with comfort, reaction and handling as some of its defined features. The bike is not without its miracles, although we have found that its technology is unique and driving is extremely pleasant and fun.
