Ride the Future: Our Secret Test Ride of the New UNNO MITH
Together with Ano Bikes, we organized the most special Test ride in Barcelona – this is other novice experience. For weeks, the new myth forums and waves have been made on social media – rumors, ulation hostels, hype. But what is the original story? A lucky e-mountainbike reader must be aware of direct! Oh, and all our readers have some good news!
If you have 48 hours to ride one of the most progressive EMTBs in 2025, what do you do? Before pros, in front of the media, Before the official experiment? Sure: Hold your sunscreen, helmet and pods-when a chance once in a similar lifetime comes, you are willing to roll.
The response has distanced us: In just one day, more than 250 people from 32 countries have applied to join the Riders Test Ride – all are eager to spend a sudden weekend with us in Barcelona. Among them are Red Bull Rampage Riders, Former Pros, Product Managers from other brands, journalists, content creators and most importantly: emotional mountain bikers for adventure. Skill level? High. Motivation? Still more. But in the end, there may be only one winner.
The fate has its word: Lucky Test Rider – Brody – UK and first unable to believe it. “I never thought I would really win,” he told us.
Sometimes it moves faster than you think: less than 48 hours later, we met the brady at Plana de Cottonya in the heart of Barcelona. But before hitting the sidewalks, we hit a concert – a wild mix of oriental electronic live music combined with classical instruments. After a few dance movements, it passed at midnight – the time to crash. The sidewalks are calling.

Soaked to the bone. Barcelona is famous for endless sunshine and great weather. But for more than a month, the Mediterranean coast almost saw a nonstop rain. Then we showed – and the sun was like that too. All time.
On Saturday morning, Ole – Sales Master Mind – took us in the heart of Barcelona. Destination: Marsame region in Costa Brava. The sidewalks around Maresme have gained reputation for being better than one of our All-Time Favorite Test Locations in Santa Coloma de Farners, where we led our big e-mountainbike group test for years.

Anno Filter – A glimpse of Maresme’s trail gold and future
We meet Ano founder Caesar Rozo at a parking lot near the sidewalks. Together, we dial in the setup for the brodi – he also brought his own grips from the UK and did not waste time to fit them. Some quick tweaks for motor settings in the app, and we set out – the time to hit the sidewalks!
Mixed with tight, steep, twisted, flowing, technical – legendary views and chunky rock sections. The paths of Maresme have all of this. Brodi quickly finds his rhythm, pins by turns, throws the wilows and sticks to the rear wheel of the Caesar.
Brady usually rides analog bikes – from transformation to Atheran. His first verdict: “downhill, the bike feels so good and planted. You forget that you are in ebic.”
By the end of the ride, we spent 2,100 vertical meters. The battery of the bike was reduced to 11% – and ours was completely drained. Time for a well -earned dining break, serve towards special interior knowledge: development insights, market analysis and secret plans for the future. Deep and honest dive with the mastermind, Caesar Rojo, Ole Olson-Io-Io-Manuu, and E-Mountainbike founder Robin Schmit are the head of the Future motorcycles before joining. And of course: Pala. What else?
