New e-mountainbikes with DJI Avinox motor: Forbidden LitE, CorE and Megamo Reason, and UNNO Mith

Multiple brands unveil their latest e-mountain bikes today-and all of them are in common: the newest DJI Avinox M1 motor. Among them are Anno, Forbidden and Mego, everything offers a unique concept but all gain power by the latest drive system of the DJI. What offer these new bikes in terms of design, spec and price? Where are they different – and which model is right for any rider? We capture the first key insights and impressions for you.

What was the first – chicken or egg? In the case of the DJI Avinax system, the answer is clear. Arrived in debut Amflo PL Carbon, which is one of the first magazines we tested in detail. Now, three more e-mountain bikes are opened with a single powerhouse-and at least two of them are mirrored to be aunt in terms of at least two suspension journey: 160 mm with a megamo cause, and with a dried core-sale with 160/150 mm. When the DJI introduces their Avinax motor system, it is clear: it has a serious ability to move the e-bike market. Numbers speak to themselves – 2.5 kg with a continuous force of 105 Nm of torque and 850 watts – and in boost mode, briefly up to 120 Nm and a maximum power of 1,000 watts Most current e-bike motors. So, which new bikes now use the Avinax drive system?

With the new Druid Light and Core, the Canadian brand Forbidden officially enters the e-mountainbiking world. Both bikes use the DJI Avinax system but different in suspension travel, battery size and weight.

The Druid Light has a travel of 150/140 mm (F /R) and a 600 WH battery. It steps up to 160/150 mm with the core model 800 WW Battery from € 8,699 to 11,699 €. The logic is simple: the greater the journey = the more battery, and the contrast. The Druid Light weighs 20.8 kg, but a more downhill-centered core version tip the scales at 22.6 kg due to its large battery and burlier parts. With greater journey, the head and seat angles on the core are 0.6 ° and 0.9 ° socker than the light.

As expected from forbidden, two models use a high-pivat for-bar behind the suspension. New, however, vertical shock mounted. Geometry wise, forbidden does not follow the mainstream. They call their policy “proportional size”, which includes long stock and lower rich numbers. For example, the size S3 is a 467 mm Reich (equivalent to size L). However, the chainsstase grows in proportion to each frame size – a good thing.

The new megamo cause and cause air

For the reason, the Spanish brand Mego is launching a total of new E-MTBs. The reason is not low in twelve different versions. You can get a new DJI-powerful megamon aluminum or carbon frame, with or without the “air” tag- which represents light versions with less journey: the standard 160 mm is 140 mm.

Conclusion: New e-mountainbike with DJI Avinox motor system

The nafter is more than just a year, it is clear: DJI Avinox is not a motor one-hit wonder. As we have already pointed out in our first test, it combines heavy energy with refined control and low weight – it attracts the bike brands that are now established.

For megamo reason, we are specially touching the slim and lightweight E-MTB market-which is available as a trail bike or down-canry featherweight. Forbidden takes a different approach, starting in Druid Ini Core and Light versions-two bikes with different travels, but united by stable, high-pivat design, which is guaranteed to impress brand fans. Ano Myth combines two ideas: elegant and minimum performance, yet ready for a full-tortetal action-as our test clearly shown.
