Aventon Pace 4 launches as nearly theft-proof electric bike
Aventon has officially announced its last electric bike. Speed 4By adding advanced smart bike technology and the convenience of advanced riding to the popular line of urban friendly electronic bikes. Speed 4 is built on the successful Aventon formula and ease of use, now reinforced with new connectivity and security features, making it harder and easier to return to theft.
At the heart of Pace 4 is the latest Aventon innovation: Aventon Control Unit (ACU). ACU significantly enhances the information and security capabilities of the bike and brings up 4 GPS, Geofancy and remote lock to 4.
By adding ACU, riders gain the ability to monitor their bike position in real time, adjust the virtual boundaries that warn if they leave a specific area, and lock the rear wheel remotely and help improve security and peace. A startup passage can also be activated to further improve theft inhibition and ensure that the bike is only activated by authorized users.
Lock and remote password can help prevent theft, but GPS tracking makes it easier for the bike to find itself in the wrong hands. The GPS feature and the 4G data connection both need 4G data that is supplied for one year at the time of purchase.
Of course, there is nothing as an anti -theft bike, but this type of smart features helps riders get closer to that goal. In addition, the more awareness of the bike thieves that electronic bicycles include internal GPS or other theft deterrence features, hopefully these models become less targets.

Electrical catch
The new Aventon Pace 4 is the company’s recent drive to push the boundaries of electronic bike technology, intelligent connection, advanced security features, medium performance and some nodes. I think if this was not the price for me, this bike would be attractive to a wide range of riders, which is relatively high. In addition, the base model does not include a shelf, a fender or other main passenger that only makes the price more. It is said that speed 4 is launched when the price of an electronic bike is expected to reach all over the screen, or slightly for models made in different Asian countries or significantly for models made in China.
But ignoring the price (as hard as it may be), I love what I see here. It is difficult to compare with the E -Class 3 Class 3 bicycles with more powerful 48V systems, but this is not designed to compete with those models. This is a moderate and easier model. But for the intended audience, it has some good features that we often don’t see elsewhere.
I really hope that features like internal tracking across the page become more common because they are very valuable to riders.
