Spread the love

Do you have a more difficult Tadej cake or Fem van Ampel? If this is the case, maybe it’s time for your baby to get a drop with drops.

Compared to the bike on all sides, where most of the children’s bikes are designed, a bike for young people, gravel or cycling bike will be faster, lighter and more appropriate for distance riding and ‘cross racing. Bicycles on this list will help your child climb to larger mountains, finish the 50-minute or compete in the race of your local children.

Unfortunately, unlike Children’s hilly bike The job that is flourishing, fewer and fewer manufacturers make pine size bikes.

Options in North America are quite zero because brands like Frog and Vitus have withdrawn from our market. You may need to buy for a used bike or take a summer vacation to Europe and ship one back.

If you are in Europe, you have a few more options….

Frog 67 and frog 70

Price: £ 670 / £ 720

Frog is one of our favorite Kids bikes bike companies in balance to bicycle trace, they make top bicycles for children.

Both Frog 67 (24 ″ wheel) and Frog 70 (26 ″ wheels) boast bars with drops, but also have additional brakes at the top of the bars, which is nice for children who have not yet mastered the drops.

These bikes also work for riding on the road or cyclocros and comes with two sets of kenda tires – one for each discipline.

Vitus Razor Disc & Energie

High quality components include a micro-speed drive drive, Tekro disc brakes and kenda tires. All at a very affordable price.

If the child is more interested in cyclocross, they also offer Vitus Energie 24 and 26 with beautiful tires with buttons and a lot of mud remover.

Worx Da-24 and Yes-26

IN Worx Yes 24 and 26 are fantastic bikes. Apart from being beautiful, bikes are ready for the race – either on the road or on the ‘cross path. Worx Junior Bikes offers Mircoshift brakes and Tektro brakes.

This is a little Marko Botique in the UK, but they are delivered internationally, so wherever they are, this is a good option.

Abolish bikes

These are the bikes we had on our ciccrochros and road bicycles on our census, but they were abolished. As you can see, this bicycle genre scored a big goal.

Choosing a real road bicycle or bicycle bike for your child

Bicycle size

Bikes on this list have either 24 ″ wheels, 26 ″ wheels or 650C wheels.

Generally, most of the 24 ″ bicycles will set children aged 8 to 10. As with all children’s bikes, each bike has a slightly different geometry and every child has a different height and construction. Therefore, be sure to measure your child’s child before buying a bicycle.

If your child is older, 10 or 11 years old, you will discover that you have more options and you can look for a youth bike with 26 ″ or 650C wheels.

Weight

There are a great chance if you buy a road or a cross bike for your child, that you are a pretty serious cyclist yourself. Which also means you know how important the weight is in the bike.

This is twice the truth for children who have a slight body weight and a small muscle mass. If your child is going to use a racing weight bike is twice as important. In particular, with ‘cross races, they will also raise this bike and over obstacles and run with it, so keep in mind that the easier bike is the more you will enjoy the races.

Brakes

The transition from an upright bike to a more aggressive road bike with drops can be a challenge. My favorite 24 ″ road bicycles, such as The Frog 67, also offer regular brake leds in bin in the drops and additional brake handles on straight bars. If you do not know that your child already has a driving skill in the drop, I would recommend that you start with this lineup.

You also have to decide if you want a bike with rim brakes or brakes. While the UCI are the rules used to turn off the discus brakes for the cyclocross races, it was changed several years ago.

Where you have a possibility, we would always choose a bike with disco brake brakes over the brakes. For most of the field riding, the brakes are far superior to performing and stopping forces. Unfortunately, there are not many cycling bicycles with disk brakes for children, so you may have to compromise this one.

Drive

As in everything in life, there is always a compromise between price and quality. Generally, you should buy your child a bike with the most beautiful repairs you can afford. If you are not sure what the various packets of the drive circuit are, This article offers a good examination.

Wheels

Rotation weight is more important than weight on any other part of the bike (for example, the frame). When buying a bike, compare the weight of different wheels on bikes. This is often important more than the total weight of construction. If your child really takes biking, you can always upgrade their wheel later.

Budget

Will this be your child’s primary bike or other sports bike? This question is important when you consider how much you want to spend.

If your child already has a road bike or a hill bicycle or a bike in the city and just uses a bicycle or a cyclocross bike to test several races, you may need to choose a bike at the bottom of the budget spectrum.

If, on the other hand, your child will use this bicycle to take a school, a long distance ride with your mom and dad or serious races, then remove the dough and invest in the highest quality bike you can afford.
