Heybike Alpha Review | Sparse oily tire of a middle facility

There is a lot that the alpha gets properly with her experience and several areas where she could improve.

Let’s start with the good. I think Heybike did a nice job with the frame. It feels firmly and not overly flexible (the plague of many approachable fat tires), and a rope steering, paired with thick tires, acts to handle a medium path that is not too much twitch or too wide. Geometry is comfortably setting up your body in an upright and relaxed attitude.

It is available either in the high step option or step, but no matter what the frame you choose, it comes in just one color-white for ST and Black for a high step. Heybike does not publish height expectations, but I would have a high step for the riders up to about 6’2 ”(ideally with 32“ inseam) and suitable for riders of 5’6 ”.

The suspension jaw is an entry level, but effectively drowns the imperfections of the road and pulls out a sting from a chatter when cutting gravel or mild field terrain. Tires, with your tread pattern, can help you drive to the beach and back and lunch some dirt. However, the entire bicycle profile is comfortable and balanced to riding on roads, with the potential for the occasional, light external road exploring on a hard surface or a beach cruise.

Auxiliary drive worked and can push a bike more than 30 miles per hour. There is nothing worse than the torque sensor that ghost slippers, so kudos are the result of nailing the gear range.

Alfa can handle heavier loads of up to 400 pounds, and even when we filled 50 lbs on the back stand, the handling remained quite firm.

Alfa does not even overlook the trifles – it includes the headlight with high and low beams automatic functions, the back light that serves as a brake light and has a turn signals and even an electric horn on the ship.

Improvement areas include a screen and an application. The LCD color display is easy to see, but as mentioned earlier, the battery reading is unreliable.

The Heybike app has the potential, but it feels under -used. The interface is beautifully set up, but you can’t really much with it. You can switch between three or five dog modes, approach the manuals or find near the seller – and that’s it.

This also shows the Christmas theme despite the season that came and left a few months ago, which makes it feel like she doesn’t get much attention. This is not the main point of sale of the bicycle; I don’t consider it problematic, but the foundation seems solid. Showing that some love would improve the overall experience and value of the bicycle – bikes at this price rarely have an application, so it would be great to see Alpha gets extended use inside it.
