The KTM ebike tour of Lower Austria

KTM EBIKE TUUR LAVE -AUSTRIAS (Rivers Kamp, Thaya and March)

When I think back to the KTM Ebike tour, I can do nothing but laugh. It was a week of laughter, charming landscapes and a couple of lessons difficult. My friend Wendi and I started this seven-day cycling adventure through Austria, everyone experiencing the first first bike ride in Austria and for the first time with a friend. There were constant landscapes, fun failures and unforgettable moments.

Our KTM Ebike tour began in the charming wine town of Kremsi an der Donau. We watched the bunch through the bottom of the river through Waldviertel (Forest Quarter) and Weinviertel (Wine Vart). The landscapes were a delightful surprise, moving from the pumpkin to the lush vineyards and deep forests. Along the road, we discussed the advantages of a great cake and the benefits of cake and eb kägi, for which we had to try several samples to carry out this test. The result was huge; The more you eat the cake, the more you enjoy your ebike tour. (You are welcome!)

Ie pölten – Langlois

Day 1 Set the tone with rain, Greek pizza and snails. After a deceptive ride from St Pölten’s train station to Langenlois, we found a shelter in the charming B&B Catalleya Haus, where our host greeted us with open arms. During dinner there was an unexpected blend of pizza and Greek cuisine, served by a waiter who reminded Liev Schreiber. The highlight of the evening? After the rain has been swarmed.

Langlois – ottenstein

Day 2 brought sunshine and cake as we brought vineyards and peaceful Waldviertel. The stop for coffee and cake at the Altenburg Stift Monastery was highlighted, although the battery anxiety was almost in parallel during the day. Miraculously we found the charging point just on time, saving me from a possible breakdown. That evening, we watched the sunset over the Ottenstein Reservoir, which had a cold beer that was the perfect end to the challenge.

Otttenstein – Waidhofen and der Thaya

The 3rd day was a mixture of golden rye fields, the wrong turn and the visit of the Wend Cold Pharmacy. The navigation error led us to the forest, proving that paper cards still have their place. In the meantime, after my discovery, I was on the verge of a wardrobe, I treated myself with shorts of new cycling.

Weidhofefes Taya – Hardgg

Day 4 took us to the smallest city in Austria, Hardegg, on the Czech border. The day was filled with pumpkin fields, cold coffee, a shrink cake and a bypass that added additional kilometers to our route. Despite luxuries, Hardg fascinated us in the apartments with its stunning views and warm hospitality.

Hardegg – Falkenstein

The 5th day tested our durability with a grueling climb Hardgeg and expected as a Falkenstein ride because I have the inability to calculate the distances and the use of the battery! Along the road we admired cannabis fields (first for me) and descended to the wild peeing, which left us in the seams. By the time we reached our accommodation, we were exhausted but grateful for a delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Falkenstein – Hainburg

The 6th day brought fairy tales, apples, pears and ice cream as we cycle through vineyards and orchards. The miscalculation left my battery to Hainburg (see topic here?), But for that was the ice cream size of my face.

Hainburg – vodka

The last day took us through the Danube of Vienna, where a random bypass through the nudist region left me to death, but gave me an endless laughter. I’m so Briton in this regard; Nudity is not our business. We celebrated our journey in Stephansplatz with overpriced beverages, recalling our ridiculous sunbathing and the joy of open tea.

Summary

This tour was more than just a cycling adventure; It celebrated friendship, our adventure spirit and simple pleasures of life. From picturesque landscapes to unexpected meetings, the KTM route left us memories forever. Would I do it again? Absolutely – but next time I plan my battery wisely and avoid the nudist zones!
