Thinking about getting an e-bike?

Spread the love

Do you mean getting an e-bike? Here’s what you need to actually know

Do you think about getting an e-bike? You may have played with the idea for a while. May -your knees are not as they used to be. You may -you are tired of arriving at work to see just as if you were just running a marathon. Or maybe you have just seen one whining and thinking, “Oh, it looks fun.” Regardless of your reason, welcome to the e-bike club.

Before you load the main role of the Eb Kägnama, there are some things that should be considered a complete beginner – there is no jargon or pressure, just a normal story.

1. What is the e-bike?

First of all, let’s delete it: the e-bike is just like a regular bicycle, but with a little help if you need it. Its as easily as possible to explain the pedal as usual and the engine provides additional help. In general, there are 3 or 4 power levels (modes). Eco mode (lowest mode) increases your power by a third, while turbo mode (highest mode) gives you three times power. Does not do that all For you (it’s not a motorcycle), but it gives you a nice impetus in the pedals, especially on the mountains, on windy days or when you run late and traffic is against you.

Note. There is an EMTB mode that basically like an automatic car, you put it on EMTB and it does it all for you. The disadvantage of this mode is that it uses more of your battery as it moves between the “Tour Tourbo” modes to provide you with the right energy level.

2. You still have to make a pedal

It surprises some people. Yes it is electricalBut you still have to do the pedal. The engine will simply help you do this without feeling your lungs can explode. Think about this as a friendly push from a hill that will never run out of energy.

3. Know your legal boundaries

In the UK and largely in Europe (including Austria), e-bikes are classified to help up to 25 km/h (about 15.5 miles per hour) and with engine, regular bicycles. No license, insurance or FAFF. If it goes faster or is accelerated, or if you do not have to pedal. Well, it is a different beast and may need registration. Check the legal requirements on the spot.

4. The range is important (but do not obsess)

The first thing everyone asks is, “How far does it go?” Most e-bicycles can be done with a single charge of 40-100 km, depending on how hilly the landscape is, the size of the battery, how much energy you use and whether you have packed a picnic or four-speed meal in your pans. Basically, if you don’t bike over the Alps every day, you are probably fine. The batteries reach up to 850 watts. What is the best I hear when you ask? You need to decide what you intend to use and then decide what battery you need. For example, I live in the Alps, so I do a lot uphill, I need a new knee and I am reflected. My days are usually between 50 and 80 km and I usually drive in tour mode; My battery is 625 cotton wool and it suits me well.

5. The budget wisely

E-foot bikes are not cheap. Proper can cost somewhere between 2000 and EUR 3000; If you decide that a complete suspension is for you, you can still spend € 10,000. Think about what you can afford and consider it to invest your health, happiness and possibly wardrobe (less sweaty shirts). Try before buying, if you can – most good bicycle shop lets you test. If they don’t, go somewhere else that gets it.

Over the past two years, there are many e-bicycles now and in stores and warehouses, so you will find a lot of time and research. My bike is a Scott lady hiking wheel from 2020 and still goes strong and I love it. If I had to compare it to the car, I would say it’s like VW Golf, reliable, durable and look good without it nice. I have a recently tested shark and Cube e-bicycles, both hiking bicycles and I need it. Both are great brands; If I were pushed for a response, I would probably say that you would get more with Cube for your money. All said and done, I’m sure you will get most of the e-bicycle agreement in the last 2 years because there are many shares.

6. They are heavier than you think

Due to the engine and the battery, e-bikes are more chunky than regular bicycles. If you plan to wear three stairs flights or hang it from the wall of the garden shed, you can -to the bottom around your storage plan. What about on the way? This extra weight makes it durable and soothing. As an example, my e-bike weighs 28 pounds. Therefore, it can be difficult to turn on and off the trains that are not at the platform level. I usually have my husband around, so the problem is solved!

7. Smiles guaranteed

Last but not least: Riding an e-bike makes you laugh. When flying up the hill, there is simply something happy without breaking the sweat. It’s like cheating – but a cheating that is perfectly allowed.

E-foot bikes are designed everyonenot only ultra-fit or unfit. Take it slowly, do research, and most importantly, have fun. Waiting for road and bike path!
